Details

PISCES IV is upgraded, clean, maintained and powered by low hour six-cylinder Cummins.  6 Kw generator and new Dometic AC serves the helm and interior.  In September 2022 the boat was hauled and bottom was repainted.  New headliners have just been installed.  This is a sharp looking custom rig! Asking $169,000 and located near Davie Blvd and HWY 95.

WILL ACCEPT CLEAN TRADES

Starting spring of 2021, the current owner of this boat went boat shopping on the computer. The customer set a budget and stuck to it. Buyer and buyer's broker soon found out finding a well-maintained brokerage vessel, on budget, was not straightforward...We toured many poor looking boats in person that looked nice online when studying photos reading spec sheets. We cast a wider net and searched from New England to The Keys before focusing on PISCES IV in South Carolina.

PISCES IV has been in regular service ever since making the trip down the east coast. The current owner is an experienced boat owner, but they do not fish. The marlin tower top and outriggers have been removed from the boat and stored next to the boat's Pompanette Fighting Chair. These modifications have PISCES IV set up for the current owner's weekend cruises. The boat now passes under most of our bridges and the cockpit is now wide-open space. The Cummins engines do not consume tons of fuel, even when skipping along at cruise speed of 21-23 knots at 2500-2700 RPM.

The Offshore 34 is still in production today at Composite Yacht in Maryland. Over the years, this same hull design has been used by a handful of custom builders and has proven to be comfortable for cruising offshore.
PISCES IV comes equipped with a smart interior. As you enter the cabin, the galley is to your port side. Fridge, stove, counterspace and a stainless sink allows for enough space for the basics. The forward portion of the interior serves as a V-berth or for seating with a table. The head is located on the starboard side. There is a sliding door to close off the head, and this is a wet head.

The cabin's sole is teak and holly vinyl. The headliner is vinyl. Most of the walls are mica complimented by teak trim. Located behind the ladder entrance to the interior is another access to the engine room. New AC was installed in 2022 works great to make this interior cold.
All of the following has been done by the current owner since summer 2021.
Interior deep cleaned and organized
Exterior waxed and polished
New Dometic air-conditioning installed
Head was serviced
Grey SeaDek flooring installed in the cockpit, covering boards, toe-rails and on the foredeck. The new deck feels great underfoot and customized colors were selected to compliment the Sea Foam Green hull paint.
New cushions were just made for the bridge deck and they look sharp!
New Batteries (3)
New alternator on the generator
Racors fuel filters rebuilt
September 2022 the boat was lifted from the water, inspected and bottom painted with new antifoul paint.
I am holding an engine service record from a prior owner. In winter 2020, they had $11,500 worth of engine maintenance done at a boatyard in Stuart Florida. Tasks ranged from maintaining the engine's heat exchangers, aftercoolers, gear coolers, a valve adjustment, down to new hose clamps.
• New SeaDek was recently installed in the cockpit
• Pompanette Fighting Chair
• Rupp single spreader outriggers
• Fish coffin box is removable
• Bait rigging stations located port and starboard
• Fresh water washdown
• Courtesy lighting
The bridge deck on PISCES IV is well laid out and unique. Well laid out because the entire space offers a good seat, with the captain centerline atop the Sea Foam Green Pompanette Ladder Back helm chair. Superb visibility and completely shaded by the hardtop overhead. Unique because the navigation electronics are located forward of the teak helm inside a flush mounted hydraulic console. The other noteworthy custom feature is the bridge deck slides back to the aft section of the cockpit in order to provide complete access to the engine room and tops of the main engines.

In 2018, a prior owner installed a Garmin suite of electronics at the main helm and up on the tower helm station. Both helms also equipped with VHF, autopilot, radar, and stereo.
• New SeaDek installed on the Foredeck
• Suncor 35 LB polished stainless-steel anchor with chain and nylon rode
• Maxwell windlass with dual controls at helm and on foredeck
• Twin Cummins 370 HP 6BTA with approximately 800 hours. Engines well maintained. Thorough maintenance in winter of 2020. I am holding a copy of the receipt on that service.
• Next Generation 6 Kw generator with approximately 400 hours.
• Sea Star hydraulic steering gear
• Xantrex battery charger inverter
• New batteries in 2022 (3)
• New Dometic AC installed in 2022
• 110 & 12 volt electrical system
• 50-amp shore cord
