Details
SHARK is the one and only 75’ Rybovich cockpit motor yacht ever built and is arguably the rarest Rybovich yacht in the world. She is the ultimate creation of Tommy Rybovich, and was launched as MARGARET. She was subsequently named FRAPPE' and then WILDCAT. SHARK and has had one owner for the past 17 years who has spared no expense to achieve her "tip-top" condition. As Michael Rybovich recently said, the owner has been incredible to work with and has truly cared for her without regard to costs of any maintenance or upgrade. In addition, he says she's one of the most unique and beautiful yachts they ever built (one of only five motor yachts) and the largest of the category. SHARK has never needed a restoration and is currently looking like she just came out of the new build shed a few years ago.

Built of mahogany using the time-honored technique of cold-molded construction, SHARK is an amazing example of this craft perfected by Rybovich over their storied 104 years in business. The hull topsides are three diagonal layers of mahogany laid at 45-degree angles, with a total thickness of about 1" with an exterior layer of fiberglass, cloth, and resin. The hull bottom has five layers of diagonal mahogany planking in the vicinity of 1-1⁄2" thick. It is also fiberglass and resin-sheathed.
SHARK's bow has a recognizable sharp entry, which makes her unique among the fleet and allows her to slice through calm or choppy sea with a flow and smoothness rarely seen on similar vessels. She cruises at 20 knots and has a top speed of 23.5 kts. Powered by sparkling CAT 3406 engines, which reside in an engine room that could only be maintained at its current level by a car collector. And that's a real fact - the owner has a significant passion and collection of cars, and you can see the attention to detail in the cleanliness, layout, and engineering. It is stunning, with nearly everything looking brand new. A feature that is hard to escape from are the bright LED lights, which are mounted in the bilges casting light up on the engines and other equipment. It is museum-quality stuff.

SHARK's interior is comfortable, warm, and beautiful, with soft corners of mahogany woods, contrasted by all-white carpets, fabrics, and painted wall panels. The interior is tastefully decorated with colorful cushions, artwork, and historic yachting memorabilia.

The helm area on SHARK is a masterpiece of incredible wood craftsmanship. Clean lines and recessed electronics, and shiny gauges are all perfectly placed in this unique bridge. It is truly a captain's utopia with incredible sight-lines and ample side windows which make this an ideal spot to run the vessel from in any type of weather.
