Additional Description
Three double cabins; two forward and one aft. Each cabin has a double berth and an overhead hatch. Each cabin has overhead lighting and a separate reading light. Each cabin has a hanging locker with additional storage. Each cabin has superb ventilation and a 12V two-speed fan.
A 12V refrigeration system with heavy duty evaporator plate serves a foam insulated icebox. Ventilation is provided by an overhead hatch and two forward opening ports. Two burner LPG gimbaled stove with oven and broiler. Double stainless steel sinks. A 10 Gallon/38 Liter garbage bin is conveniently located under the galley work surface. Ample work surfaces and locker space for crockery, cutlery and all cooking utensils. Main work surfaces covered with Corian.
The hulls are of GRP construction with balsa core for strength, stiffness and insulation, using high quality materials. The hulls carry a comprehensive limited osmosis warranty from Robertson & Caine. An exceptionally shallow draft of 3’5″/10m is achieved. The hulls have fixed skegs that protect the rudders. They also offer excellent attachment points for the rudder shafts. The rudders are composite with a stainless steel shaft. The prop shafts are supported by a solid skeg. This offers better protection for the shafts. Both deck and hull are finished in white gel coat with the trademark Moorings striping and graphics.
Mast & Rigging
Mast is extruded anodized aluminum with a single set of swept back spreaders. Single forestay with Profurl jib furling system. Anodized aluminum boom with reefing system, outhaul and reefing line jammers. Stainless steel chain plates. Lower ends of rigging are attached with double screw turnbuckles. Mast exits for halyards are stainless steel. Antal mast slider system is supplied for low friction mainsail hoisting and lowering.
