Best in Show, New Build – 2022 WoodenBoat Show, Mystic CT.
Classically inspired and traditionally built, the East Passage 24 draws on the deep roots of the fishing and pleasure boats that have called New England water’s their home for over a hundred years. The EP24 represents a new generation in a long line of heritage boats that are not only functional but more importantly beautiful.
LOA – 24′
Beam – 8′
Draft – 2’6″
Displacement – 5000lbs
Constructed entirely from wood, the EP24 is built traditionally using time-tested methods and techniques used by generations of boatbuilders in the past. Designed with flexibility in mind, the three different seating locations for passengers and a wide-open cockpit makes it perfect for taking a sunset cruise around the harbor with friends or anchoring in your favorite cove for a family swim on a hot summer day. Multiple options for fit and finish will allow each owner to customize the boat to their individual tastes and the hull also allows for multiple steering locations, space for a marine head, or even a small cuddy cabin.
Powered by a Yanmar 150HP turbo diesel, the EP24 will comfortably cruise at 15kts while topping out at 24kts all while delivering a sweet and stable ride. With an 8’ beam, 2’6” draft and displacement of 4400lbs, the EP24 is also perfectly suited for trailering.
Traditionally built and based on time honored designs, the EPB 24 will surround you in the warmth of wood and deliver you to the dock in style.
