1991 Perini Navi 46 Meter
One of two distinguished Perini Navi vessels built by an experienced serial-owner, S/Y ANTARA, measuring 46.5m, represents the third in the 46m series. Notably, her main deck was designed and built for extra height gaining enhanced comfort compared to other vessels in the series. She also was custom-built with an extended flybridge and sun lounge which accommodates a large jacuzzi. ANTARA earned world-recognition for her nonstop voyage from Hong Kong to Italy. Powered by twin 640hp MTU diesel engines, ANTARA achieves a top speed of 12.5 knots and a cruising range of 3,500 nautical miles at 10 knots.
ANTARA has undergone extensive refitting in 2017, 2019, and 2023, encompassing comprehensive upgrades to nearly every aspect of her machinery, interior, and exterior. During her most recent dry-docking, she successfully completed her 30-year ABS survey and maintains compliance with MCA regulations.
The expansive flybridge features generous lounge seating to port and starboard behind the helm station. A spiral staircase encircling the mizzen mast acts as a centerpiece for the space. Her aft hot tub surrounded by sunpads is what makes S/Y ANTARA stand out from the rest- you will be pressed to find a sailing yacht of this pedigree with comparable features.
The aft cockpit, peacefully shaded by an overhanging canopy, includes a forward bar, an informal lounge area with armchairs around a coffee table, and open-air dining aft with curved banquette seating and dining chairs. Steps on either side lead up to the main deck aft, where a new swim platform extends from the transom for swimming or tender access. Walkaround side decks lead to a versatile foredeck area used for stowing the yacht's two 5m tenders during passages.
The main deck interior is bright and welcoming, divided into a forward dining/bar area and a formal saloon aft, separated by a raised pilothouse. Large windows admit ample natural light throughout the main deck. In the saloon, two large sofas and multiple armchairs surround a sizable square coffee table. The forward wall conceals a 50-inch TV behind retractable artwork, with iPads controlling the yacht's surround sound and Crestron AV systems.
ANTARA accommodates up to 10 guests in four satin-finished teak staterooms, each with an ensuite bathroom. The full-beam owner's suite boasts a king-sized berth, his-and-her basins, a bath, steam shower, a spacious office area, and a discreetly placed private gym equipped with a stationary bike and weights, complemented by a TV and refrigerator. The vessel's "eight plus two" guest accommodations feature four cabins, all freshly varnished in satin teak. The VIP stateroom features a queen-sized bed and ensuite in Italian Carrara marble, complete with a shower room. Two twin cabins provide ample berths, and all staterooms are recently redecorated with Italian linens and marble. She also comfortably accommodates up to 9 crew.
ANTARA is equipped with a centerboard, reducing draft from 7m to 3.4m, enhancing her sailing performance and stability. She boasts a record of podium finishes at prestigious regattas such as the St Barths Bucket, Palma, Superyacht Cup, and Perini Navi Cup, and maintains commercial compliance with a robust charter history.
