What we have here is a Baltic 42 designed by the C&C design group. She was built in Finland by the same builders that started Nautor Swan in Finland.   She was commissioned for the German Admirals Cup team to race the series in 1977. Since then she has been campaigned in the Caribbean by her German owners and then sold to a member of the Royal Jamaica Yacht Club. Sadly the owner passed away and through a series of circumstances I was able to buy here from the estate of the late owner.   I sailed her up from Jamaica a year ago and because of work commitments she has been hauled out in the Jacksonville area since last Fall.    I've been back onboard off and on over the past few months to upgrade systems and get her ready for a sail to New England and then across the Pond next year.
Here are the good points: -She has a new rig in 2020. $18,500 worth of work done to replace the rigging. Work completed by DAM Rigging , Ft. Lauderdale, FL. -Engine replaced 2004.
